Thesis
Mothership explores the constructed nature of womanhood through sci-fi aesthetics, conceptual videos, and critical analysis. Patriarchy defines women by their reproductive roles, shaping both their experiences and self-perception. Influenced by A Cyborg Manifesto and Body Without Organs theory, the project examines the body as a contested space—manipulated by external forces.
The videos Rabbit Catcher, Body Politics, and The Engineer deconstruct patriarchal narratives through striking visuals. A companion book expands this critique with collages and notes.
By merging speculative aesthetics with critical discourse, Mothership challenges artificial definitions of womanhood and imagines new possibilities for autonomy.
